DNA TRANSLATIOn
DNA translation follows transcription. Translation is a step in protein biosynthesis wherein the genetic code carried by mRNA is decoded to produce the specific sequence of amino acids in a polypeptide chain.(Biology Online 7/27/12) Codons (tRNA or transfer RNA) are groups of three nucleotides that connect with three recipients on a strand of DNA. Three codons connecting to the strand make a protein. This process occurs in a ribosome (Displayed in the picture below).
